Can I have a kayak delivered straight to the beach or another desired put in?
Kayaks are available for delivery at any bay or intercoastal waterway launch points. There are also lots of places outside of our beach community delivery areas. We can still deliver a kayak to these places but a small fee will be added.
Where is a good place to paddle for the day?
Check out http://www.pinellascounty.org/Plan/blueways/default.htm to find your desired launch point for kayak rentals.
What are my payment options for rentals?
We accept cash, credit card or check. All rentals require a valid drivers license.
What is the delivery area for Mr.Buddy’s rentals?
St Pete Beach, Gulfport, Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, Redington Shores, Indian Shores, Indian Rocks Beach, Belleair Shores, Sand Key and Clearwater Beach. Any Intercoastal Kayak launch points in proximity to these areas will be classed as within the delivery area. Again, check out the above link to choose your desired paddling spot. There is a vast selection to choose from.
What happens if I am outside the delivery area?
We can deliver outside the above areas, however a small delivery charge will be added.
Is safety equipment provided?
Yes, we provide all basic equipment for our rentals included in our price.
How long is a half-day rental period?
We class a half-day as 4 hours from the time of delivery.
So how long do we get a kayak if its for the day?
Day rentals on kayaks go from the time of delivery until sunset. Also, if its not sunset but you have finished your paddle, give us a call and we’ll come pick up the kayak.
What are the rental periods with bike rentals?
With bikes, the minimum rental period is a day, which gives you the bike for upto 24 hours. A week rental gives you the bike for seven days.
